Clean vessels, courteous staff, on time. Can't beat them!
Pretty busy during the summer. Could benefit from directing people off the buses into the ticket counter to make that process much more efficient. The electronic ticketing machines have been down for the past few weeks which slows the process. Attendants for disembarkment and getting to the buses are very helpful
What an amazing crew to observe as they do their work as the well-trained and well-oiled machine they are!
This organization must do a better job to work with the local population to accommodate and integrate, especially address the a sick and disingenuous leadership model based upon exploitation.
I hear a lot of bad sentiment from locals about the Steamship Authority, for example to build a huge new docking structure that would block the entire town's view of sunset, inconvenience boats leaving the pond, and would be constructed from infill ruining local habitat.
Very resilient service...... I have been on a boat with 45 knot winds. I am always amazed at the graceful docking skills of the captains. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked, food court is clean and well stocked and overpriced. All in all, a very good experience. The 45 minute travel time will pass by way faster than you think.
