Vicky the manager is the best. We love it here
Excellent location, right down the street from the ferry, bike rentals, and shopping centers. Service was moderately accessible - we had lots of trouble getting in contact with someone in management of the place before we came, but ended up enjoying our stay and the facilities were nice. We especially enjoyed the common areas, which were very clean and well kept.
I have just returned from two weeks in a little slice of heaven. A stay at Harbor Landing is like a step back in time. It's very quaint, quiet, and relaxed. Vickie McNamara, the manager, makes sure that everything is immaculate and comfortable. She is always there to greet you with a smile and available to answer any questions you may have about Harbor Landing, or the island. Harbor Landing is not a fancy resort, but I am giving it five stars due to it's location....a block from town, and a block from the ferry and bus... it's kitchen... it's deck overlooking the harbor, and the courtesy and friendliness of Vickie and her staff. I'm already looking forward to returning soon!
Old and worn, Harbor Landing nonetheless provides about the best value on the island. Primarily a timeshare, owners often rent their weeks. Ideal location a short walk from Vineyard Haven ferry, the place is clean, staff is friendly, parking is plentiful and guests/owners are friendly and welcoming. Shared kitchen facilities allow you to eat on a budget. As a base on the Vineyard it really can't be beat.
Nice place. They have no kitchens in the rooms, but they do have a common kitchen with 3 small stoves,3 sinks,dishes, glasses etc. Just basic room but you're just sleeping.
